Since last I posted...

The NYC KO&C2004 event was a great success...over 30,000 people (which included my friend Ken - That Crochet Guy!)

The second Brooklyn Crochet Meetup was a bigger crowd this time...people who RVSPd showed up...the system works! It was nice to meet new people and make more new crochet friends.

I took a friend to her first Stitches. We had a good time and... brace yourselves...I...wait for it...re-learned to knit! [If you know me and that I'm the 'anti-knit', you'll understand how 'big' that is ;)] Now before you fall off your chairs, I brushed up on casting on, knitting, purling and casting off; just the basics...and that's all I need ;)

The workshop had lots of looky-loos, but no takers; more time for me to do other yarn-related stuff :) People seem to be interested in taking classes/workshops, but have their own agenda in mind as to what they want to learn...go figure ;)

Well, that's about it for now. I've got another round of teaching scheduled for this weekend; we'll see what happens...

Hey, hookers ;)

Just popping in long enough to say the first Brooklyn crochet meetup was a small group, but looking forward to seeing it grow.

Finished last minute touch-ups on my promo sheet for the NYC KO&C.

Next, there's Stitches East, then my textured stitches workshop, so I'm a busy little bee this month!

Be back as soon as I can...
